Well ... the Lord has an amazing Christian Doctor who has been such a HUGE blessing throughout this ordeal. Some of the scans today showed that Grandma has blood clots in her lungs. We were shocked and it is a serious thing, but also very thankful because it is good they found this out and that the Dr was so persistent to want to check everything out. If they would have ignored any of this and not done all this testing first and followed through with the kidney procedure, then it would have been detrimental, because blood clots and surgery DO NOT go well together and are usually fatal. They are running more tests on her tomorrow to check things out ... she wants to find the source of the clots and resolve this before they can do anything about the kidney stone. They have her on some blood thinners and she is doing well. They are going to go ahead with the radiology procedure for the tube placement tomorrow morning (12/16) to drain the kidney ... but they are going to wait to do anything about the stone right now.
